Coupon Club is a free saving tool from Crown Money. It covers the website (couponclub.com.au), the installable app and the Coupon Club browser extension. We collect as little as possible. We don't sell your information and we don't show third-party ads.

What stays on your device

Your saved and pinned deals, followed stores, interests, watch words, calculator entries and settings are stored in your browser on your device. They aren't sent to us, except as described under deal alerts below.

Deal alerts (push notifications)

If you turn on alerts, your browser gives us a push subscription address. We store it with the stores, departments and watch words you chose, so we can tell you about matching deals. Turn alerts off at any time in For You, and we delete the subscription.

“Did this code work?” votes

When you vote, we store your answer with a random identifier created on your device (stored in scrambled, one-way form). It isn't linked to your name, email or browsing. Votes are deleted once the deal expires.

AI deal finder

Questions you type into “Ask Coupon Club” are sent, with a list of matching live deals, to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write the answer. Please don't include personal details in your questions. We don't store your conversations.

Email updates

If you subscribe to deal emails, we store your email address (and first name if you give it) in our email service so we can send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Browser extension

• The extension only runs on the websites of stores listed in Coupon Club. It doesn't run on, read or record any other website you visit.
• On a supported store, it sends that store's web address (for example, kmart.com.au) to couponclub.com.au to fetch the store's live codes. It doesn't send the page you're on, what's in your cart, prices or any personal information.
• When you tap Try code, it types the code into the store's promo-code box on your device. Nothing from the page is collected.
• If you vote on whether a code worked, the vote is sent as described above.
• Sites you hide and a random device identifier are stored locally using the browser's extension storage.
• The extension doesn't track your browsing, doesn't use analytics, and doesn't sell or share data.

Members sign-in

If Coupon Club is limited to Crown Money clients, signing in sets a secure cookie that keeps you signed in. If you sign in with your email, we check it against Crown Money's client records and don't store it on Coupon Club.

Hosting and service providers

Coupon Club is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability. Deal information comes from public Australian deal sources and retailer websites.
